A vacancy has arisen for the role of Head Coach/ Manager of our Under 20s DevelopmentTeam.
Our U20/ Development Team currently play in Conference E of the West of Scotland Football Development league and are at the head of Kilwinning Rangers’ Youth Pathway. The team train Monday’s and Wednesday’s at Kilwinning Sports Club with match nights taking place on Friday nights across the WoSFL Development League.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Youth Football Coach. The Youth Football Coach will be responsible for Coaching/ managing of Development Team as well as becoming the link between our senior team and older youth teams. The Coach will also be responsible for communicating effectively with players, parents, and
other coaches.
All applicants must have minimum Level 1.3. Youth & Adult Coaching Award or be working towards this qualification. This role is a voluntary position although expenses could be provided.
Qualifications
Football Coaching and Training skills
Experience coaching football/ youth football teams
Strong communication skills
Excellent orgaisation and planning skills
Basic knowledge of football rules and regulations
Ability to motivate and inspire young players
Previous coaching experience is preferred
Football playing experience is a plus
