The most asked question in KRTV Tuesday Night Live has always been, “When’s Carlo re-signing?” Well, you don’t have to wait any longer. Carlo is back! We can hope to see more of those free kicks he is well known for. Carlo is one of the most experienced guys in our team having started life at Celtic as a youth with stints at Morton, Dundee, Pollok as well as a few years abroad in Malta.
Carlo can’t wait to pick up where the team left off last season, “Was a no brainer to stay and build on the last 4 years I’ve been part of the buffs. I’ve enjoyed my time here until now so when the manager asked me to stay I was more than happy to, it’s really exciting times to be associated with the buffs and I hope myself and the players can fulfil the potential the coaching staff, committee and fans see in us and deliver some meaningful silverware.”
Chris Strain sees Carlo as a key piece of the jigsaw, “Carlo had a brilliant season last year and grew with the added responsibility he had within the group. Our values won’t change and I expect him to maintain those standards. He’s at an age now where he has an influence on the group. We need to be competing for trophies and Carlo needs to bring the experience he has to the other younger players. He’ll be a big player for us.”
