The Club can confirm the following update
Moving to new clubs
Jamie Barclay, Chris McGowan and David Ramsay are moving on upon the expiry of their contracts.
Goalkeeper Jamie Barclay signed in 2020 from East Stirlingshire and made over 50 appearances for the club.
Chris McGowan joined the club in 2019 from Stranraer and has predominantly been deployed at left back and covered at centre half.
David Ramsay arrived at the club in 2020 alongside Adam Caldwell Tony Coutts and Jamie Barclay. David scored some important goals. Ramsay grabbed the equaliser against Hurlford in the Kilmanock Pie WoSFL Cup Final before getting sent off with 5 minutes to go.
Contracts not renewed
Adam Caldwell and Struan McArthur contracts have not been renewed by manager David Gormley.
Adam Caldwell joined in 2020 from Girvan during lockdown and was in and out the side in his first season. Naturally a right back he made the left back position his own and was awarded the KRTV Player of the Year for his effort and work rate throughout last season.
Struan McArthur arrived from Broomhill during this season and was a squad player who made a number of appearances from the bench. He made his debut vs Troon in the 2-2 draw at Portland Park.
Returning to Parent Clubs
Goalkeeper Harry Broun and Forward Jamie Kirkpatrick have returned to Kilmarnock on completion of their loan. period.
Returning for Pre-Season
Captain Ricky Hanvey, Defender Finlay Anderson and forwards Ally McColm and Kyro Crawford have been given the opportunity to return for pre-season and the chance to earn a new contract.
