Captain Ricky Hanvey and defender Finlay Anderson have indicated they will not return for pre-season as they look to purse other opportunities away from Buffs Park.
Ricky Hanvey leaves the club after his second spell in blue and white hoops having returned from Darvel in 2019. Prior to that he had a 3 year spell at the club signing from Cumnock in 2015. Known for his hard tackles and never say die attitude Ricky was a popular player amongst The Buffs fans ending the season by winning The Buffs Foundation Player of The Year.
Finlay Anderson joined the club from Livingston Reserves in 2021 and initially was in and out the squad. He bided his time and was rewarded with his first start during the season and eventually made the centre back position his own, an ever present in the second half of the year.
