Preparations for the WoSFL Premier Division are well underway as Kevin Kelly adds a double dose of defenders to the squad in the shape of Kyle Chrystal and Ewan McLevy.*
Kyle is no-nonsense centre back who will add tenacity and physicality to The Buffs. The defender has a wealth of experience having played for Premier Division sides Largs and Rutherglen Glencairn.
Kyle’s raring to go:
“Just really proud to be part of such a well run football club, and I’m really looking forward to getting started to see what we can achieve this season, mon The Buffs”
Ewan McLevy is another face that won’t be a stranger to Buffs fans having spent a period on loan at the club in 2018-2019. The 24 year old can be deployed anywhere along the backline and the former Kilmarnock youth player has been a regular feature in the Troon squad for the last 4 seasons. Ewan is more than familiar with the setup at Kilwinning Rangers having coached the likes of Jack McMahon and Campbell McLean as The Buffs U19s reached The Scottish Youth Cup Final in 2022.
Ewan’s glad to be back:
“After speaking with the gaffer and the chairman it’s clear the club are pushing in the right direction & it’s exciting to be a part of. Can’t wait to get myself back fit and playing for the Buffs!”
