Signings are coming thick and fast at Buffs Park as former St Johnstone midfielder Chris Millar is the next player to join The Buffs revolution.
The midfielder started his career at Morton making over 150 appearances in a 5 year spell. Chris then moved to St Johnstone notably winning the Scottish Cup in 2014. The 39 year old spent 10 seasons at the Perth side featuring in over 170 games before returning to Morton for a further 3 seasons. Millar spent last year at Lowland League side East Kilbride.
Chris has played at the top level consistently for the majority of his career and manager David Gormley adds experience to the jigsaw.
“Yet another player who has a wealth of experience playing over 500 games at senior level in Scotland. Midge has been there and done it with the obvious highlight of winning The Scottish Cup. Experience such as that will be invaluable to our team as we aim for success. Chris is in peak condition and will be a role model to the younger players in our team – which can only be of great benefit to the club as a whole.”
Chris signs on a one year deal and is the third player to come in since the signing of youth player Jack McMahon and forward Dylan Mackin.
