Manager Chris Strain has bolstered his defence by bringing in central defender Aldin El-Zubaidi from Elgin. The 26 year old has committed himself to The Buffs on a 2 and half year deal.
Aldin started the season with Albion Rovers before a January window switch to Elgin City. The Iraq born player featured in the Blue and White Hoops as a trialist in our 2-1 win over Glenafton at Loch Park.
Aldin is looking forward to getting started at The Buffs and had this to say:-
“I’m really pleased to have joined Kilwinning and looking forward to playing my football there. It is a club with ambition and is moving in the right direction, hopefully I can help with that.”
El-Zubaidi goes straight into the squad to face Beith today.
