Manager Chris Aitken has moved quickly to sign up forward Thomas Collins to a new deal which will see TC signed on the dotted line until the end of season 23-24.
Thomas joined the club in the summer of 2021 scoring 18 goals and being awarded ‘The Golden Boot’ at last season’s Player of The Year Awards.
The fans favourite told the club website:
“I’m delighted to commit to the club for another year. We have had some challenges during my time here but I’m confident we can work through them and deliver better performances and results. Personally, I am hoping I can be a pivotal part in that, and that I can deliver even more on the pitch to help return the club to a position fighting at the opposite end of the league to where we are now.”
Manager Chris Aitken had this to say too:
“I’m absolutely delighted to get this deal done. Thomas is a big character and a big player for us on and off the park. After a few meetings with Thomas, it was important for me to get this done. He ticks all the boxes of what we as a club are all about and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Thomas joins Aldin El-Zubaidi, Jordan Stuart, Gavin Millar, Paul Hale, Jack McMahon and Dylan Mackin who are already signed up for next season.
