The club are delighted to announce that defender, David Syme has committed his future to the club in signing a 3 year deal that will be seeing him play in Blue and White Hoops until 2023. David started his career as a Kilmarnock youth player, making 20 appearances for the first team. He then went on to have spells with Partick, Raith and Cowdenbeath. Syme joined the club from Troon in 2018. David has been a main stay in the Buffs defence since joining and is keen to pick up where the team left off last season.

Chairman Colin Boyd was delighted to get the deal done:

“David’s been an important part of the club for a while now; a good trainer, genuine lad and a fantastic footballer with bags of potential. It’s important that while we continue to develop the club off the park, we also continue to evolve on the park and put a team out to win all games. It’ll be exciting to watch David progress over the next few seasons.”
