Manager Chris Aitken continues to build for next season by extending the contract of defender Keiren Wood. Woodsy joined the club in 2021 from St Cadocs and has been an important part of the defence since his arrival. Not only strong defensively, Wood has chipped in with a few important goals during his time at the club.
The manager keen to keep building for next season
“Woodsy is a big player for us going forward and it was important for me and the club to get this done, I’ve known Keiren from my time at Stranraer and he ticks all the boxes for me and how I want the club to move forward. Hopefully a few more players will commit over the coming weeks.”
Woodsy is enjoying life at Buffs Park
“Delighted to sign a new deal with the club. I feel we are moving in the right direction as a team and there is still a lot more to come from all involved. For me it’s the best place to play football at the moment. I look forward to returning to fitness to help the team get results on the park.”
Wood joins, Thomas Collins, Aldin El-Zubaidi, Jordan Stuart, Gavin Millar, Paul Hale, Jack McMahon and Dylan Mackin signed up for next season.
