The club can confirm that Kilwinning Rangers will compete in the West of Scotland Football League Premier Division next season. This follows the difficult decision by Broomhill to end their eleven-year journey within the Scottish Football Pyramid.

While this is a hugely positive development for everyone connected with Kilwinning Rangers, it is important to acknowledge the sadness that comes with seeing a fellow club withdraw from the game. We would like to extend our respect to the members of Broomhill’s board and their dedicated volunteers, who worked tirelessly to bring a youth football club from Glasgow into the semi-professional ranks. We offer our sympathies to their supporters, who now face the unfortunate reality of no longer having a club to follow.

Our promotion would not have been possible without the grit and determination shown by the squad. A special mention must go to Dylan Duncan, whose effort in the dying minutes of our match against St Roch’s won the decisive penalty, and to Jack McMahon, who calmly converted it to secure the vital point. Credit is due to the entire squad and management team, who have worked incredibly hard to put the club in this position—especially considering where we were just 12 months ago.

Manager Kevin Kelly is already hard at work building the squad for the upcoming campaign. We will provide further updates on player movements and squad status in due course.

The management committee, led by Chairman Colin Evans, will continue working closely with the manager to ensure the club is fully prepared to compete at the highest level of the WoSFL next season.

Now, more than ever, we need our town to get behind the club. This is an incredible opportunity to push further up the Scottish Football Pyramid. You can support us by volunteering your time, joining The Buffs Foundation, or becoming a club sponsor.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to the Premier Division next season!

Steady The Buffs!
