Welcome to #SigningSaturday and in the first of 5 announcements we can confirm forward Ally McColm returns. Ally joined from SPFL League 1 side Stranraer. Ally is 19 years old and was regularly deployed either upfront or on the wing and will be looking to build on his first season in the blue and white hoops
Gaffer Chris Strain has high hopes for him, “Ally had a really tough first season for a number of reasons; he got injured twice in the season when he looked as though he was going to become an important player for us. He’s got pace, power and has an eye for goal. I spoke to him and he feels the step up has been an education and he’s determined to make an impact, he is more prepared given he knows the standard of opponents and of his team mates and I think it will be a massive season for his development.”
Ally can’t wait to get going, “I’m very happy to be playing in blue again next season. There is much more to come from myself but also the team as we had such a good season. Buzzing to get started again.”
