Signings are coming thick and fast at Buffs Park as midfielder Mark Lamont is the next player in the door in the Gormley revolution.
Mark is an attacking midfielder who started his career in the Partick Thistle youth system before a 3 year spell at Clyde making over 70 appearances. The 24 year old moved to Alloa at the start of season 2021/22 before signing on the dotted line at The Buffs
The manager anticipates big things from the attacking midfielder:
“I’m over the moon to sign Mark. I felt he could have made the grade at Alloa this season so was taken by surprise that he was an option – which is a big result for us. He had an injury at the start of last season & missed pre season but if we get him fit and firing then we have a serious talent on our hands.”
Lamont signs a 1 year deal until June 2023.
