CLUB STATEMENT: We are aware of rumours circulating suggesting that our Club Lottery is fixed.
Claims that the absence of a first-prize winner over the past 42 weeks that our lottery has been running has been deliberately engineered by members of our committee are completely false.
For complete clarity:
🔹 Our lottery is operated entirely by an external company, Our Club Ltd — a reputable organisation that manages lotteries for many football teams & organisations across Scotland.
🔹 They handle every aspect of the draw.
🔹 They take only a small service fee, with the remainder transferred to our Buffs account each week.
🔹Our lottery is officially licensed by North Ayrshire Council and we provide updates to them on the operation.
The idea that anyone within our club could manipulate a draw is not only untrue, it is impossible — and frankly slanderous.
Our club is run by a small team of dedicated and committed volunteers and along with our hardworking Chairman the integrity and honesty of all are beyond reproach.
Our lottery is just one of several fundraising efforts that help support and strengthen our club.
We take these false and damaging rumours extremely seriously.
Should we identify the person or persons responsible, we will consider legal action in addition to an immediate club ban.
